Meet The Founder, Dr. Amy Pleet
Over 54 Years in Education
Dr. Amy Pleet-Odle is the founder of Joyful Inclusion Schools. Throughout her 50+ year career, she's explored how to make public education more effective and more joyful for students, teachers, and families. For the last 25 years, she has partnered with school leaders to co-design ways to support teachers to implement evidence-based practices, grounded in brain research that promote collective efficacy and belonging.
More than a thousand teachers in four states have used Joyful Inclusion strategies, resulting in increased teacher satisfaction and retention, improved student outcomes, and strengthened family partnerships.

I'm not a Principal. Could I still register for the Principal Accelerator?
The Principal Accelerator has been designed specifically for Principals, based on what we've learned walking side-by-side with them as they've learned what it takes to effectively improve their special education inclusive system. If you are NOT a principal, we're curious why you want to participate and what you want to achieve. Since we're in the business of empowering EVERYONE in education to become their best selves, we won't turn you away if you convince us that you could benefit.
Can you work with our complicated budget process? Do you accept purchase orders?
Of course! We understand that school systems have standard procedures for approving and dispersing funds. We can work with you. Just let us know how your system works and what we need to do.
What if I have to miss a session?
Each session will address a different topic and is carefully designed for meaningful interaction between members of the cohort, so we hope you will attend every time. At the same time, we know that your life is busy. You may need to miss a session because of a vacation or something just comes up. You'll have access to a replay of the 30 minute calls. We will not record the second part (30 min of Q&A) to protect safe space to grapple.
